Chinese New Year is a festival that makes people happy. It is also the most important festival in Taiwan. All the people in the country will have to attend this festival that includes a lot of things. First of all, each family will have a big dinner with all relatives together. The older people will cook a lot of traditional foods at that time. For example, they will cook rice-flour noodles, hot pot, and fried spring roll. Moreover,during the dinner, people will talk about all the interesting things from last year . Second, people will play card games and light firecrackers. Also, people will gamble with dies. People will use real money when they are gambling which is not really a good thing, but it is fun. Finally, adult will put money inside of red envelope for children to celebrate that we peacefully passed another year. Clearly, Chinese New Year is the most favorite festival for Taiwanese people. If possible, people would be glad to have this festival each day.
