Trace element is a chemical element which required in minute quantities by an organism to maintain proper physical functioning. The quantity of trace elements is only 0.01% of bodily weight and only 0.05% of bodily elements. The trace elements have important function in suitable and low concentration environments. Now, there are 70 kinds of trace elements in our bodies, most of the elements which are in the Nature have been found in our bodies, most of the elements are metal. The trace elements are united with amino acid, protein and others organic matters, then they form many kinds of enzyme, vitamin, hormone and so on, they have very close relationship with absorption of nourishment, immunity, heredity, incretion, growth and development. In 1974, World Health Organization promulgated that the trace elements of cuprum, iron, zinc, cobalt, molybdenum, chrome, and selenium and so on, they are necessary for our bodies, then the trace elements of hydride, nickel, stannum, silicon, ranadium are necessary for our bodies, too. Trace elements are called “power elements of life”, their functions are catalyzing and activation of the power of life in the process of human’s physiological activities.
